Château Roquevieille is owned by Mr. Thomas Guibert, who was winemaker at Château de Ferrand, Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé. He employs similar techniques at Château Roquevieille to create a wine of power and elegance. The estate is planted with 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. After a long vinification in concrete tanks, the wine is matured 12 months in French oak barrels to express the richness, intensity and delicacy of this excellent terroir. The wines of Château Roquevieille are well balanced, fruity, delicate and harmonious with soft ripe tannins.
