This stunning property in Graves AOC overlooks the river Gironde and is located on the famous clay and limestone plateau of Portets which is well drained with lots of gravel. This unique landscape creates high-quality wines that age very well. This red blend is comprised of 60% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet in colour the nose is expressive with ripe blackcurrants, toasted notes, subtle perfume of violets, and a hint of menthol undertones. On the palate the wine has a good concentration of pure fruit, elegant structure from fine, dense tannins, and a beautiful acidity to create a well-balanced wine with a long length. This wine has won both the Gold Medal at the Gilbert et Gaillard 2016 and the Bronze Medal Concours des Grands Vins de France Mâcon 2016.
